The 42 seat beamed restaurant offers a relaxed dining experience whilst providing delicious locally sourced food.
A full al-a-carte menu is enhanced by our chef's specials which range from local Venison, Bouillabaisse, & Salt Marsh Lamb (when in season). Vegetarian menu, fabulous home made desserts and local Somerset cheeses including Buckland rind-washed semi soft cheese, Sharpham Brie & Exmoor Blue (when available).

Bar Snacks
A full bar snacks menu is available Monday to Saturday Lunch and evenings. Sunday from 5 - 8pm. Sunday Lunch (examples are) Roast Rib of Beef and Yorkshire pudding. Stuffed Loin of Pork. Plus Fabulous roast potatoes and seasonal veg. Available 12 - 3pm.
The bar is full of character and boasts an impressive array of choices from traditional favourites such as Guinness through to the more traditional real ales such as Otter Head 5.8 our premium ale. Palmers Copperale 3.7 our session ale together with regular guest ales such as Fullers London Pride, Green King Abbot and Wadsworth 6X.
A wide variety of Premier Wines are available. All reasonably priced. And Pimm's in the garden when the summer arrives!
A warm welcome awaits the locals and traveller alike. By the roaring fire, at the bar, in the garden during the summer playing Boules, or perhaps a game of Bar Billiards.
